Job Description

Nursery Teacher

An experienced nursery teacher is required for an immediate start until July 2012, located in Acton, Greater London.

The successful applicant will be teaching in a large and cheery nursery alongside an NQT and two nursery nurses. The preferred candidate will be experienced in mentoring NQTs and junior nursery staff.

Smart Teachers is looking for a highly confident and knowledgeable nursery nurse who can help shape the team in addition to their key duties as an early years educator.

To apply for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

-          Eligible to work in the UK

-          Qualified to teach EYFS

-          At least one years’ experience teaching nursery/EYFS

-          Valid references, CRB/police checks

Successful applicants will need to posses the following skills:

-          Outstanding teaching skills

-          Positive and creative approach to teaching

-          Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

-          Highly organised with excellent preparation

-          Excellent communication skills with pupils, staff and parents
